Our Favorite Thieves Hacks
Thieves Cleaner for every home! This versatile Household Cleaner is not only plant based, but has the most amazing spicy-sweet scent that gives your home an impeccable clean. You can pretty much use this stuff everywhere…glass, stove tops, counters, carpets, kids toys, and more! Here are some of my favorite (and simple) recipes for getting the most out of your Thieves Household Cleaner.
All-Purpose Cleaner
This is my favorite way to make up the cleaner. It is incredibly easy, can be used on multiple surfaces, and you can add your favorite oils to change up the aroma!
· 1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
· 2-3 cups of water
· 8-10 drops of essential oil of your choice (optional)
Simply combine the ingredients into a 16 ounces glass or stainless steel spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray surfaces liberally and wipe clean. Doesn’t get easier than that folks!
Deep-Cleaning Scrub
This scrub is great for stove tops, sinks, tubs, toilets, and many other grimy hard surfaces.
· Baking Soda
· Thieves Household Cleaner
· Scrub Brush
Combine your desired amount until you achieve a thick paste. Then apply to the desired area using a cloth or a sponge and scrub thoroughly. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse liberally.
Heavy Degreaser
This spray is awesome for surfaces that are extra greasy and gross!
· 1 capful of Thieves Cleaner
· 1 cup of water
· 5 drops of Lemon essential oil (optional)
Add all the ingredients to a 16 ounce glass or stainless steel spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray surface and gently rub with a cloth to remove any surface grease. Once the grease is removed, wipe the area with a clean, wet cloth.
Glass and Mirror Cleaner
This spray is perfect for all your mirrors, windows, microwave (my microwave door is always covered in fingerprints!), and even your stainless steel appliances.
· 1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
· 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
· 3 cups of water
· 5 drops of Citrus Fresh essential oil (optional)
Combine all the ingredients in a glass or stainless steel bottle and shake to combine. Spray your surface liberally and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
Wood Floor Cleaner
Shine up your floors with this simple cleaner!
· 1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
· 1 cup of olive oil
· 10 drops of Citrus Fresh essential oil
Combine the ingredients in a mop bucket or a container large enough to fit your mop. Use a damp (but not soaking wet) mop to apple evenly to your wood floors.
Carpet Spot Cleaner
This is great for spot treating your carpets!
· 1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
· 6 cups of water
Add to a large spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray the spot with Spot Cleaner and blot with a clean, white cloth. Repeat as needed!
